Local children were getting ready for school last weekend at The Mall Luton, by decorating their very own 100% cotton pencil case in the latest Funday Sunday kids club.
Children got to meet the Mall Monster, The Mall Luton’s friendly mascot, and received a complimentary eco-friendly gift: a wooden safari animal pen, perfect to start the new academic year with.
“During this month’s Funday Sunday activity we wanted to give children the chance to create something green, which they could take back to school with them,” commented Lavinia Holland, Marketing Manager of The Mall Luton. “The pencil cases were great, not only were they made of fair trade cotton, but is one less thing for parents to pay out for at this expensive time of year.”
These activities are part of The Mall’s regular Funday Sunday kids’ club. Funday Sundays are FREE for children to participate in, and take place at The Mall Luton on the last Sunday of every month.
Ends.
